The evening of Monday 12th February 2018 saw The Anglo-Apéro Networking Reception at the University of Kent Paris School of Arts and Culture. We welcomed around 80 members and guests for an evening of wine, canapés and networking at the charming Reid Hall.
The overall success on the night can be attributed to the hard work of our fellow co-hosts from la Chambre de commerce France-Canada, Australian business in Europe-France and NetworkIrlande, whom we thank for all their efforts.
The evening began with a few welcoming words from Chamber President Olivier Campenon, before Jeremy Carrette from the University of Kent took to the stage with further welcomes and a description of the university’s MA program here in Paris. The evening then broke into general networking, with members and guests enjoying light refreshments courtesy of Chamber member Domaine du Cantaussel. Artwork from Crocolitho provided the backdrop to the occasion, with artists Rob Miles and Alice Gauthier kindly offering their time to interpret the finer details of their works.
With wine glasses emptying, business cards being exchanged and hands being shaken the night began to draw to a close. As members and guests collected their coats and bags they were offered a copy of The Economist, courtesy of our partners, to enjoy on the journey home.
