“La reforme du droit du travail par ordonnances en association”, un présentation de la nouvelle réforme du travail par Etienne Pujol, du cabinet STC Partners , le 28 novembre 2017, lors d’un petit déjeuner.
On Tuesday 28th November, the Chamber welcomed Etienne Pujol, social lawyer from STC Partners, to present to members the new labour reform that was adopted on 2nd August of this year.
This professional breakfast highlighted the main points and biggest changes:
- Merging of staff representative bodies (IRP)
- Negotiation in companies
- The link between industry and company agreements
- Economic redundancy
- Severance benefits
- Collective conventional break
The Chamber and its members were delighted to have Etienne explain the intricacies of the new law, being able to ask insightful and challenging questions with expert responses. Etienne systematically explained each of the biggest innovations that the ruling on the labour reform would have, clarifying each point. In this way, Etienne made a potentially dense and challenging topic clear and accessible, allowing guests to understand how this reform might affect them, whilst highlighting the ambiguities of the reform and the difficulties that these pose
About the speaker:
Etienne Pujol holds a Master II in International Business Law and a DJCE from International Business Law department at the University of Aix-Marseille III and obtained an LLB at University College London.
He is now an Associate at STC Partners, where he specialises in the field of corporate social law, and supports French and international clients in their restructuring operations, job-saving plans, outsourcing, etc.
Etienne is also a director of the CNBF (Caisse Nationale des Barreaux Français), a member of the Board and treasurer of Avosial, a member of the EELA (European Employment Lawyers Association), and a member of the Bureau of the “French Chapter” of GEO (Global Equity Organization).
