What do you need to know for recruiting in France?

Recruitement is about matching the company culture to a candidate. Here are 3 suggestions for a successful recruitment process:

Above all, you must get to know the recruiting company: its culture, size, atmosphere and the personalities of the team. It is this mutually exclusive relationship which is often key to recruitment. Familiarise yourself with the job description, its strong and weak points, be transparent with the candidates and test their motivation. Avoid overselling a job to candidates, they will be dissapointed!

Second essential aspect: Get to know the candidate well, their experience, their personality, their real aspirations, but also see what they do not want. Often, candidates know better what they do not want, rather than what they want.

Finally, choose a good partner to help. Sometimes recruiting becomes time consuming – the choice of networks to advertise your job offers, sorting CVs, responding to them, telephone interviews, face to face interviews, then checking references… You should make the most of the experts in your field! Take advantage of partners you trust, who you know and who know your problems, this will save you time!
