‘Should I call you Dr?’ Crystallizing & Communicating your Expertise

In collaboration with Chamber member École des Ponts Business School, we were delighted to welcome Dean Alon Rozen, Professor Emeritus Suman Modwel and Professor Desmond McGetrick to present École des Ponts’ DBA and its unique methodology.

Board member Rosalind Taylor welcomed guests to the chamber and introduced ‘The Academy’ – the Chamber’s professional training network. Participants then enjoyed a presentation of École des Ponts’ DBA, aimed at senior professionals wanting to clarify and communicate their expertise.

Celebrating their 30th year as a business school this year, École des Ponts Business School’s MBA has been ranked 2nd globally by CEO magazine, and they remain committed to their motto – to be “In business to make a better world.” Their DBA builds on this expertise, with practical and collaborative learning designed to fit in with executives’ busy schedules.

Participants then heard from Fred Lacombe, EMEA Risk Manager at Royal Bank of Scotland and current DBA student, who praised the course’s unique approach and the strong relationships forged with fellow students and academics both within the EU and globally.

A discussion and networking followed the presentation, giving attendees a chance to learn from each other’s experiences and develop future business relationships.
