SME Breakfast 5 September 2017
The SME breakfast is an ideal networking opportunity for all small and medium business owners looking to exchange ideas, discuss challenges and find solutions in the form of a roundtable breakfast event.
On 5th September Gayle Gorvett of GGorvett Consulting and Sarah Delon Bouquet of Bryan Cave shared their expertise on GDPR Regulations with Chamber SME Members in an informative and interactive breakfast round-table event.
Gayle and Sarah analysed GDPR in depth, and explained the implications for SMEs in light of Brexit. In a dynamic presentation, they made a potentially perplexing and dense topic concise and clear, giving advice on how to tackle the uncertainty of the outcome of Brexit for personal data protection regulations and the upcoming GDPR regulations in a comprehensive ‘9 point action’ plan. This plan serves to help businesses better understand what should be done in order to ensure data protection regulations are complied with.
It was a highly successful breakfast which reached over 350 people, notably regional members, over facebook live on the Franco-British Chamber page, and many members stayed behind to network and discuss the topic further with Gayle and Sarah.
The presentation is still available on facebook, so check out the post to learn more about GDPR. Should any members wish to receive the presentation materials, you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive them.
