British Airways has provided a concise guide for all those arriving in the UK after the 7th December 2021.
The necessary measures to be taken depend on :
- Whether you are fully vaccinated or not
- Whether you have travelled from a ‘red list’ country or not
Please find below the updated list of rules.
ALL travellers from a red list county, irrespective of vaccination status, must :
- Complete a Passenger Locator Form within 48 hours of travel
- Take a PCR pre-departure test within 48 hours of travel
- Take a PCR test upon entry within 2 days of arrival
- Take another PCR test on the 8th day after arrival
- Isolate in a government managed hotel for 10 days
Non vaccinated travellers from the rest of the world must :
- Complete a Passenger Locator Form within 48 hours of travel
- Take a PCR pre-departure test within 48 hours of travel
- Take a PCR test upon entry within 2 days of arrival
- Take another PCR test on the 8th day after arrival
- Self-isolate for 10 days
- Has the opportunity to take a test to release on day 5.
Fully vaccinated travellers from the rest of the world must :
- Complete a Passenger Locator Form within 48 hours of travel
- Take a PCR or Lateral Flow pre-departure test within 48 hours of travel
- Take a PCR test upon entry within 2 days of arrival
- Self-isolate in the UK until received a negative test result
