SME Breakfast – Increase Your Business Visibility To Grow Your Business Faster
On Tuesday, the Chamber had the pleasure of welcoming Nadira Artyk, Founder of Visionary Voices PR, a boutique PR agency based in Paris, for our monthly SME Breakfast. This month’s breakfast was on the theme of growing your business visibility online.
Nadira Artyk is an experienced PR and content marketing strategist who outlined the dominance of social media in today’s digital world. Customers are able to google companies in seconds and find honest and up to date reviews on a company or service, showing the importance of having a strong online presence.
At the beginning of the presentation, Nadira asked the audience to measure their social media visibility on a scale of 1-10. By the end of the presentation, it was clear that through these useful and practical tips, these scores will definitely be increased.
Social Media is the new PR and LinkedIn, more specifically, has grown tremendously in popularity over the last few years. Your LinkedIn profile acts as your online business card. Potential customers are able to search you or your company’s profile and so it needs to be enticing, clear and passionate to attract your client base. A professional photo and a powerful headline on LinkedIn is critical to attract interest to your company.
LinkedIn is the best lead generation platform for B2B companies and can enable your company to grow rapidly if used efficiently and successfully. Nadira explained the importance of regular posts on LinkedIn in order to keep your audience engaged. Posts need to provide value to your followers; it can be done in various ways, eg through sharing business updates or client testimonials, discounts or offers to customers, or relevant advice and tips. Consistent, high quality posts will help expand your connections and will help your business grow.
Optimal levels of posts were analysed, for example 5 x a week on Facebook and the same on LinkedIn. Although for many SME business owners this may seem hard to maintain, Nadira stressed the importance of quality over quantity. Find your own voice and posts should show passion and thought, rather than irrelevance, which only adds to the growing ‘noise’ on these social media platforms.
No matter which platform of social media is used for your company, whether it is LinkedIn, Facebook or Instagram, social media content should be driving customers back to your company’s website. Thus showing the importance of an equally strong website to maintain these new customers.
Define goals – target audience – choose right platform – optimise your profiles
We would like to thank Nadira for all her time and work put into this interactive and interesting presentation. The breakfast concluded with coffee, croissants and networking.
