On the 12th May, the Franco-British Chamber welcomed Laure Daumesnil, Founder of Daumesnil & Cie to speak at our web “Business Clinic” on the topic of ‘Actualités bancaires : crédits garantis et trésorerie’. The session focused particularly on the credit solutions proposed in France since March 16th to face the difficulties of development and operation of companies faced with the constraints imposed by confinement.
In addition to information on re-insurance packages in France or for export, and the solutions already deployed by BPI, the State-guaranteed loan, Prêt PGE, was explained, from the certificate of application for a guaranteed loan on the BPI website to its full repayment at the bank.
A few points of vigilance concerning the cost of the guarantee, the rate applicable during the amortisation phase, early redemption penalties and credit among other outstanding amounts were mentioned. In addition then details on the Banque de France’s rating system, on the European classification of companies by financial size, on the principle of double analysis of loan files and finally on the bank account operating criteria.
A zoom on the stakeholders, agents, brokers, financial advisors and accountants in support or as a the file creation process was finalized before the questions from the participants.
