British Airways – Guide ‘At a Glance’ for arrivals in the UK from the 7th/9th January 2022

An updated guide for travellers arriving in the UK after the 7/9th January has been released by British Airways.

Rules for fully vaccinated travellers :

• Complete a Passenger Locator Form within 48 hours of arrival
• Pre-departure tests are no longer required
• Take a Lateral Flow test within 2 days of arrival (PCR tests are no longer required)
• No self isolation is required, unless a LFT comes back positive

Rules for unvaccinated travellers :

• Complete a Passenger Locator Form within 48 hours of arrival
• Take a PCR pre-departure test within 48 hours of travel
• Must take a PCR test within 2 days of arrival
• Must self isolate for 10 days
• Additional PCR test on day 8 of arrival
• Possibility of taking a ‘Test to Release’ on day 5
