The FRANCE SESAME platform is a new digital tool that offers a range of services designed to ease the process of administrative formalities and border controls. The platform is primarily concerned with controls related to the crossing of sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) goods such as live animals, animal products, animal feed, foodstuffs (organic certification, fruit and vegetables), etc.
The platform is primarily aimed at two types of users.
1. Economic operators (logistics providers, forwarding agents, importers, etc.) involved in SPS goods flows (imports and transit) in the ports of Le Havre, Dunkirk and Marseille,
2. Agents of the administrations of the General Directorate of Customs and Indirect Rights (DGDDI) and the General Directorate of Food (DGAL).
