From Wednesday 2nd April, unless they have a visa, settled status or pre-settled status, EU citizens will need to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) to travel to the UK.
This authorisation, similar to schemes in other countries, will cost £10 and will be valid for several visits to the UK, for a maximum of 6 months per trip, for two years, or until the holder’s passport expires.
